More Sketches I found

Sketch of some heterodontosaurs, my favorite little grumpy ornithopod.

Tron: Legacy was such a visual and audial feast!

Mountains

Photoshop crashed on me on this one, but I grabbed a screenshot and worked on that!

Laughing Mander Toy

I whipped up a design for a mander toy for Patchtogether. I'd really love it if people want one!

Unicorns

Inspired by the ridiculous flash game Robot Unicorn Attack. Sometimes a girl just wants rainbows and unicorns.

Ink Work

In school I'm doing alot of work with ink, both quill and brush. I like quill for replicating my hatchwork, but I have fallen in love with quality sable brushes and am working at improving my control with such. My painterly tendencies to be fast, messy, and rely on reductive techniques requires adaptations with ink.

May Sketches

Abstracts

My latest drawing class had us doing abstract pieces, and to warm up  I did a series of marker sketches. Here's a few.

Working non-representationally really stretched the art-lobe in my brain in a much needed unfamiliar direction. Constantly having to watch the composition and enjoying mark making and colors for their own sake, trained my eye well. It is much more relevant to my representational work then I'd  thought, and much more difficult than most people assume.
