Two Paintings

Two paintings, the first of which is a personal piece based of a dream, and the second is a contest for Gears of War 3. The similar format but contrasting subject matter amuse me.

Leather masks and trolls

Been experimenting with making leather masks. First run: moth

Finally got some free time, so I could paint Signless from Homestuck.

Recent Commissions

I've been painting a lot recently but I can't show it! So, here's some private commission work I've taken lately that I can show.

More Sketches I found

Sketch of some heterodontosaurs, my favorite little grumpy ornithopod.

Tron: Legacy was such a visual and audial feast!

Mountains

Photoshop crashed on me on this one, but I grabbed a screenshot and worked on that!

Fan Art

Out of nowhere - my little ponies! The series MLP - Friendship is Magic by Lauren Faust is so fun. But I couldn't leave well enough alone and made some ponies based of medication.

The newest Pokemon generation has some great sprite designs.  This is my take on the grass snake Serperior.

A personal piece I struggled to get finished.

Forest Nap

Sketching environments is easily the most relaxing kind of art for me. This one turned in to a bit of an experiment with a technique I'm still working on.

I haven't been getting enough art done as I should lately because of my day job. I haven't learned to keep my energy up between the two yet.

frivoloty, recent digital sketches

Photos of actual cats in actual sweaters were too adorable to pass up.

Charmander, since even though I haven't played Pokemon in forever, they are fun to draw.

Fan art of Trolls from MSPA

Recent Digital Paintings

The first is a shirt illustration for a new band. I'm excited for them! The method was cell shading for the screen printing process, and it's not my normal way of working so it's weaker than I'd like but they are very happy with it.

This next one is a private commission, the female character designed by the client

Tropical Fairy

I'm entering my first big convention at the end of October, so I'm working on a bunch of new pieces on a more straight forward fantasy bent. I wanted to do a shot of a small section of forest for a while. People have suggested the fairy looks poisonous.

Bad Part of Town

Wanted to take an environment sketch to a higher level. Turned out in to a metal-rendering-fest but it was really fun.
